Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden’s Fall Foliage Festival: Oct. 28-29. It’s sure to entertain with bold fall colors, fun activities like a costume contest to win garden prizes, and a kids scavenger hunt. Guests will dine on yummy food and satiate their cravings for sweet fall drinks, all under the blanket of falling golden-brown leaves. Location: 2525 S. 336th St., Federal Way. The Pacific Bonsai Museum, located across the courtyard from the Rhody Garden, is also celebrating their bonsai’s fall foliage this same weekend. All are invited to watch the significant seasonal transitions in bonsai, as the trees pull all their resources down into their roots and deciduous bonsai put on a colorful display.
