Local real estate agent Vickie Chynoweth recently published a cookbook, “Well Fed: Easy-to-Follow Recipes,” featuring recipes that have been printed over the past few years in the Federal Way Mirror.
Chynoweth’s weekly recipes in The Mirror run under the headline “Well-fed at the Federal Way Farmers Market” and include ingredients that readers can find from the market’s vendors. Recipes range from soups and salads and dinners to breads and desserts. Readers can try their hand at appetizers like zesty peach jalapeno poppers or main courses like zucchini lasagna.
“The recipes are designed for almost anyone to be able to cook,” Chynoweth told The Mirror. “Cooking good food does not have to be time-consuming or complicated. Most recipes do not have ingredients that are hard to find or costly. This cookbook is for people to be inspired to create tantalizing recipes on their own. Cooking does not have to be complicated or an unwelcome chore.”
