Federal Way Mirror Athlete of the Week for Sept. 8 is senior Thomas Sinn of Todd Beamer High School, tennis.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Math.

Q: What additional activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: Playing tennis and working out

A: “Prisoners,” “The Dark Knight,” “Zodiac” and “The Truman Show.”

Q: You’re on a long road trip, you stop at a gas station. You get one drink and one snack. What are you choosing?

A: Sprite and Doritos.

Q: Describe your pre-game ritual and your favorite post-game meal.

A: Pre-game: Eat bananas and stay hydrated. Post-game meal: Pasta.

From the sidelines: Thomas is a great tennis player and leads the team with his quiet demeanor and intense match play. He is also a varsity swimmer at TBHS. He has chosen to play doubles this year with his ninth-grade brother, Justin, which speaks volumes and is really going to improve our team’s level of play.
