Federal Way resident Terry Atkinson won $330,000 playing Washington Lottery’s Hit 5 draw game. The announcement was made May 28. She plans on paying off her house with part of her winnings, according to a news release. She bought her winning ticket at Fred Meyer in Federal Way.

“I couldn’t believe it!” Terry said when she found out she won, according to a news release. She said she had to have a friend verify that she was a winner. Her friend at work checked the ticket against the numbers online and exclaimed, “Yes, you’re a winner!” according to a news release.
