There’s no better place to celebrate the holiday than at the City of Federal Way’s annual Red, White, & Blues Festival on Tuesday, July 4.
Beginning at 4 p.m. at Celebration Park (1095 S. 324th St. in Federal Way), the festival has live music, games, fireworks and more for families to enjoy on Independence Day. The festival is free.
From 4-5:30 p.m., Zydeco Lowdown kicks off the festival followed by Mr. Pink at 6 p.m. Mayor Jim Ferrell presents a Mayor’s Address at 7 p.m. with the Kids’ Parade starting its show at 7:15 p.m. Brickhouse takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. followed by Spike & The Impalers. The evening’s event is led by emcee Alex Zerbe.
The City of Federal Way’s fireworks display begins at 10:15 p.m.
Additional entertainment includes inflatables, interactive arts and dozens of food and treat vendors.
