Sept. 28
Stolen items: At about 8:40 a.m. near the 32900 block of 1st Avenue South, unknown suspect(s) broke into a business by cutting the hinges off the rear door. The suspect(s) then cut the hinges to the heavy duty safe and stole money, food, tools, video surveillance equipment, and computer hard drives. There is no suspect information.
Possible overdose: At about 6:41 p.m. near the 29500 block of 12th Avenue SW, a woman was found unconscious and not breathing after consuming suspected fentanyl. The drugs may have been shipped to the woman directly in the mail via USPS. The suspected fentanyl was booked into evidence for destruction.
Sept. 30
Who let the dogs out?: At about 9:30 p.m. near the 31400 block of Pacific Highway South, witnesses reported seeing two medium-sized dogs at the Elephant Car Wash, then near Best Buy. The dogs were captured and transported to the police station. The dogs’ owner(s) were unknown at the time.
Threats with a weapon: At about 5 a.m. near the 1200 block of South 336th Street, officers responded to an apartment complex for a report of a threat with a weapon. Officers arrived on scene, and arrested the suspect without incident.
Oct. 1
Children unsupervised: At about 12:12 p.m. near the 34900 block of Enchanted Parkway South, officers responded to reports of three children under the age of 8 running around in the parking lot and inside a restaurant. Witnesses reported the patents were slumped over inside a vehicle nearby. Child Protective Services responded and the children were taken into protective custody.
Oct. 2
Crossbow firing: At about 12:30 a.m. near the 2000 block of South 308th Street, officers responded to reports of gunshots and a man damaging vehicles. On scene, a man was seen leaving and refused to speak with police. A victim told police she fired a crossbow at the suspect, and was later uncooperative with the investigation.
Fire started: At about 2:08 p.m. near the 32500 block of Pacific Highway South, police and fire were dispatched to a fire in progress. Witnesses saw a person walking away fro the fire, but was he was gone upon police arrival. No video footage available.
Shoplifter stopped: At about 12:43 p.m. near the 2200 block of South Commons, a man walked of the Target store with an arm-full of merchandise he did not pay for. Police tried to contact him and he took off running after tossing all of the items onto the ground. The man was apprehended across the street, cited and released.
Oct. 3
Domestic dispute: At about 10 p.m. near the 2200 block of South 300th Street, officers responded to a physical domestic dispute. Investigation determined the son assaulted his father. The son was arrested and booked into jail.
Harassment at gas station: At about 8:27 a.m. near the 35500 block of Pacific Highway South, officers responded to an gas station after employees called and said a suspect made threats and flashed a gun. Officers arrived on scene as the suspect fled on foot. The suspect ran into a wooded area and was not found. Probable cause was established for misdemeanor harassment.
Oct. 4
Good neighbor: At about 3:40 a.m. near the 1400 block of SW 319th Court, a neighbor was leaving to go to work when he saw two suspects break into another neighbor’s car. The neighbor confronted the suspects and they fled the scene. Nothing inside the vehicle was stolen.
Fraud: At about 12:26 p.m. near the 1900 block of South Commons, a man was arrested after fraudulently using a credit card at the Zumiez location in The Commons mall. The suspect was booked into jail on a warrant.
