Hundreds of people gathered at Celebration Park on July 4 for the return of the Red, White & Blues festival.
Back in person for the first time since 2019, the Federal Way festival featured several bands and performers, local food options, information and candidate booths, and kids activities. Top attractions included the bounce house, an inflatable obstacle course and inflatable Zorb balls.
Attendees of all ages donned ribbon crowns and patriotic sunglasses made from the Federal Way Arts Commission arts & crafts tent. Kids showed off their face paint and temporary tattoos from the Federal Way Community Center summer camp staff.
Dozens of youth also participated in the Kids Parade, led by South King Fire and Rescue firefighter and bagpiper Ann Hoag.
A fireworks shows ended the night and capped off the Fourth of July holiday.
