February 1, 1924 – March 21, 2022

Daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandma and great-grandmother — a woman who loved well and was well-loved; Alice Christensen Thorstad slipped away early Monday morning, March 21, 2022, at the age of 98.

Alice was the second of nine children born February 1, 1924 to Einer and Hilda Christensen in Tyler, Minnesota. She is preceded in death by her parents and seven of her siblings; her husband of fifty-years, Kenneth

Thorstad, and her daughter, Nancy J. Cummings.

She is survived by one brother, Howard Christensen of Tauton, Minnesota, and her daughter, Linda S. Cameron of Tacoma, Washington. Five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 2 to 5:00 pm, Sunday, April 3rd, at the Chapel of the Chimes, Tuell-McKee Funeral Home, 2215 Sixth Avenue, Tacoma, WA 98403. She will be laid to rest at the Tahoma National Cemetery with her husband, April 4th.
