Twin Lakes Chiropractic Center, 1107 S. 347th Place, will participate in a Locks of Love fundraising event from 1 to 5 p.m. Dec. 11. Professional hair stylists from Fashion Hair Design in Milton will give free haircuts and styles to anyone who wishes to donate their locks. Participants must be able and willing to donate at least 8 inches of their hair to take part in the fundraiser. Twin Lakes Chiropractic Center’s Dr. Asa Hansen will kick off the event by receiving the first haircut and donating his hair, which he’s grown for a year.

Locks of Love is a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada suffering from long-term medical hair loss due to a variety of diagnosis.
