Thanks to the generous support of more than 300 attendees and more than 148 area businesses and individuals, Multi-Service Center’s 10th annual Crab Feed and Auction recently raised a record amount of money for the agency — a total of $92,510.
The money will go to support the agency’s programs and resources for people-in-need who are working to create lives of stability and self-sufficiency. The popular community event, held at the King County Aquatic Center, is MSC’s largest fundraiser of the year and draws attendees from all over South King County. A portion of the total amount collected ($13,645) will go directly to MSC’s Federal Way Food Bank to help defray transportation and repair costs for vehicles and equipment needed to operate the food bank.
