Federal Way man airlifted to hospital after motorcycle crash

The man was ejected off of his motorcycle after swerving to avoid slowing traffic near Enumclaw on June 25.

A Federal Way man was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center on Friday after crashing his motorcycle near Enumclaw.

At about 3:42 p.m. June 25 near 196th Ave. SE and SE 436th St. in Enumclaw, Washington State Patrol (WSP) responded to a personal injury collision.

A 47-year-old Federal Way man was driving his motorcycle eastbound when he swerved to avoid slowing traffic. The man struck a sign and was ejected off of his motorcycle, according to WSP.

The driver was not wearing a US Department of Transporation compliant helmet, the agency stated.

The man was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center and the Mirror has reached out to the hospital for an update on his condition.

WSP reported drugs and alcohol were not factors involved in the collision.
