Knifing the neighbor’s door: At about 7:24 a.m. near the 2100 block of SW 352nd Street, neighbors from the same apartment building were involved in an altercation regarding noise, and words were exchanged from their balconies. Two people went upstairs to confront their neighbors, and one of them brought a knife. The woman with the knife admitted to puncturing the exterior front door with her knife as the neighbor slammed it shut. She was arrested, interviewed and released.
Drug paraphernalia starts hotel fire: At about 11:10 p.m. near the 33230 block of Pacific Highway South, officers responded to a fire at the Eastwind Motel. By the time of their arrival, the flames had been extinguished by South King Fire and Rescue crews. The fire appeared to have been started by drug paraphernalia left on the bed in one of the rooms. No injuries reported.

Woman assaulted in Costco parking lot: At about 7:49 a.m. near the 31500 block of Enchanted Parkway South, a woman was assaulted in the Costco parking lot while putting her groceries in the trunk of her car.
Gun pointed in road rage incident: At about 6:10 p.m. near the 31710 block of 50th Lane SW, a suspect pointed a handgun at a victim during a road rage incident. The suspect allegedly said “I will put a bullet in you.”
Man shoots into upstairs apartment: At about 7:48 p.m. near the 1900 block of SW Campus Drive, a person discharged his 12 gauge shotgun into the upstairs apartment while unloading the firearm. Police forced entry into the upstairs apartment to check for injuries. The apartment was vacant and no injuries were reported.
May 14
Robbery: At about 5:11 a.m. near the 27200 block of Pacific Highway South, a gas station was robbed at gunpoint.
Boy with gun at transit center: At about 5:12 p.m. near the 31600 block of 23rd Avenue South, one juvenile boy was seen brandishing a pistol at the Federal Way Transit Center. An officer working security witnessed this and confronted the boy, and then a foot pursuit ensued. The suspect threw the gun and was eventually detained. The gun was a loaded glock with an extended magazine. The boy was arrested for felony possession of a firearm.
May 15
Domestic violence dispute: At about 9:06 a.m. near the 1800 block of S. 285th Place, officers responded to a domestic dispute with a gun. The suspect with the gun had punched the victim and made threats to kill. Suspect was gone on arrival and not located.
May 16
Man shot in chest: At about 3:15 a.m. near the 32200 block of Military Road South, officers were dispatched to the Lodge at Peasley Canyon Apartments for a person who had been shot. The man was located in front of the apartment building with a gunshot wound to the chest. Aid was provided until South King Fire crews arrived and transported him to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition. The victim did not know who shot him and the suspect was not located.

Catalytic converter stolen: At about 1:34 p.m. near the 28600 block of Pacific Highway South, a reporting party said she parked her vehicle at a location overnight and during that time, her catalytic converter was stolen by an unknown suspect.
May 18
Catalytic converter stolen: At about 10:36 a.m. near the 32300 block of 11th Place South, an unknown suspect cut out and stole the catalytic converter from the victim’s Toyota Prius that was parked at an apartment complex overnight. No suspect information available.
