Over 1 million meals provided to FW students

In late February, the Federal Way Public Schools district hit the mark of one million meals provided so far this school year. Dedicated Nutrition Services staff show up every week to pack nutritious breakfasts and lunches to ensure children in the Federal Way community have access to food. Also last month, the district expanded meal kits to include seven breakfasts and seven lunches. Funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the free meals are available to FWPS students and children ages 18 or younger at 65 locations throughout the city.
