Utility work for the incoming Sound Transit Federal Way Link Extension project will result in lane closures this month.

The right lane of westbound S. 272nd Street will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 1-19. Closures will occur between 26th Avenue S. and Westbound I-5.

No detours are available as the work impacts only single lane closures.

The Federal Way Link Extension is a 7.8-mile project extending the light rail from Angle Lake Station in SeaTac to Federal Way. The Sound Transit extension project includes three new stations serving Kent/Des Moines, South 272nd Street and the Federal Way Transit Center.
