McCarthy, Linda Ann, 79,

of Federal Way, died on

October 2, 2020 with her

daughter by her side. She

was born on November 8,

1940, the daughter of Frank

and Lillian.

Linda attended Western

Washington University

where she received her

degree in Education. She

met her husband while

attending college, and on

September 8, 1962, Linda married Larry McCarthy. Together

they raised two children in the family home in Federal Way.

Linda left her teaching career to raise her children, but she

was always an educator. She took pride in her community and

wanted to make sure everyone was taken care of. She was

an entrepreneur and was a founding member of a local craft

networking group. Linda enjoyed crafting, gardening, and her

pets.

Linda is survived by her daughter Erin (Chris) Reinhart; and

her faithful companion and best friend,

Baxter the dachshund. In addition to

her parents, she is preceded in death

by her beloved husband, Larry in 2010;

and her son, Chris McCarthy, in 2003.

Services will be private.
