Todd Beamer High School sophomore Julian Clemans, wrestling, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Dec. 13.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: My favorite subject is drama.
Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?
A: I like to go on runs, draw, or listen to music.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: My dad has helped me be successful the most.
Q: The best advice I’ve ever been given by a coach is:
A: Don’t take a break off of my sport. Go on runs after wrestling season or find open mats in off-season.
Q: Describe your pre-game ritual and favorite post-game meal.
A: Before my match I like to visualize how I want the match to go and how I want to wrestle. I like to eat an apple or another fruit with water.

From the sideline: TBHS sophomore Julian Clemans displays amazing tenacity, leadership and work ethic daily. You can always count on him to be at practice on time and ready to go with a great attitude. He leads by modeling the way for the rest of the team with his actions. He comes from a family of wrestlers and his dad coaches wrestling. He has been a leader and varsity wrestler for the past two seasons.
