Midnight domestic dispute: At approximately 12:50 a.m. near the 2100 block of SW Dash Point Road, officers responded to a domestic dispute. They were first brought to the area of 36th Court Southwest where they located a very intoxicated male walking in the roadway, saying his wife just left him, and he threw his phone into the woods. The male asked officers for a ride home. As they were driving him home, officers located his vehicle, occupied by his wife who was passed out in the middle of 21st Avenue Southwest and Southwest Dash Point Road. Officers completed an investigation and the wife was arrested for DUI. During the investigation, the husband stayed sound asleep in the back of the patrol vehicle and was later dropped off at his home to deal with his upset mother.

DUI: At approximately 2:52 a.m. near the 36200 block of Pacific Highway S., a suspect was arrested after police witnessed him driving the wrong way into oncoming traffic. He was later found to be under the influence and was booked into SCORE jail.

Nov. 3

Harassing texts: At approximately 4:07 p.m. near the 2000 block of S. 327th Lane, a 17-year-old female and her mother reported receiving threatening and harassing text messages over the last two days. The texts were coming from two separate numbers, but the teen victim said she thought the numbers may have been generated from a phone number masking app. The texts implied that if the victim did not break up with her current girlfriend, “bad things would happen.” The text did not elaborate further. The juvenile believes that her ex-girlfriend may be the one sending the texts but has no proof of this. The juvenile was given information on how to obtain a protection order. At this time, no crime was established.

Homemade blow-torch: At approximately 7:48 p.m. near the 1800 block of S. 320th St., a male suspect was located near Old Country Buffet lighting hairspray on fire and frightening people. The suspect was contacted and had a warrant out of Federal Way. The warrant was confirmed and the suspect was booked into SCORE.

Nov. 4

Potential break-in: At approximately 10:21 a.m. near the 30600 block of 11th Ave. S., seven unknown males about 16 to 17 years of age wearing dark clothes went to the victim’s house at the listed location and were banging on the victim’s front door and the back of the house. The males then fled over the back fence into Federal Way High School campus. When the victim’s adult son arrived home, he discovered his bedroom window had been busted out by unknown means. A neighbor’s surveillance camera captured the teens walking in front of his house to the victim’s house.

Suspect turned himself in: At approximately 4:40 p.m. at the 33300 block of 8th Ave. S., the suspect turned himself in for a King County Sheriff’s Office warrant for $250,000 for a drive-by shooting. The suspect was booked into SCORE jail. There were no injuries or complaints of pain.
