From the sideline: TJHS senior Hailey Still led her team to a third place divisional finish as the Lady Raiders moved into the playoffs. This season, Hailey had broken three school records in soccer starting with the amount of goals in a game at nine goals versus Decatur. She then eclipsed the “career goals” of 109 set in 2003. Finally, last week versus Todd Beamer in her last regular season game as a Raider, Hailey shattered the amount of goals in a season record (previously 37) with her 38th and 39th goals of the season in a 5-1 victory over the Titans. Hailey, no matter the outcome of the playoffs, will be considered as one of the greatest soccer players Thomas Jefferson High School has seen in their 52-year school history. She will take her soccer talents to the University of Washington next school year.
