Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Sept. 20: Noah Wilhite

TBHS senior serves kindness, tenacity on the tennis court.

Todd Beamer High School senior Noah Wilhite, boys tennis, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Sept. 20.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Physical education.

Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?

A: Inline speed skating, camping, hiking and church.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My parents, friends and coaches.

Q: What is the best advice you’ve been given when it comes to your sport?

A: “When you get tired, keep fighting for the ball and focus on your form.”

Q: Describe your pre­-game ritual and your favorite post-competition meal.

A: For my pre-game rituals, I eat pasta the night before my match and on the day of, I make sure to be positive, listen to the hype music and say a prayer. My favorite post-game meal is chocolate milk and Chick-fil-A.

From the sideline: TBHS senior Noah Wilhite displays leadership and work ethic daily. He is in a good mood and smiling the majority of the time, he is kind to everyone. He has a great ability to mix kindness, athletic ability and tenacity every time he steps on the court, in practice or competition. He has been a leader and varsity tennis player for the past two seasons. He ran cross country for two years and has been a varsity track athlete for the past three years.
