Desna Cup celebrated its 12th annual international sports tournament and cultural festival over the weekend in Federal Way. The three-day event included sports activities, soccer and volleyball tournaments, cultural programs, a Soviet car display, traditional foods and family fun. Desna Soccer Club is a local organization established in Federal Way. It all started with a group of enthusiastic immigrants from Russia who created the very first Desna soccer team in 1999.
