The Lions Club of Federal Way recently awarded 10 high school seniors with scholarships to support their post-secondary pursuits.

To date, the Lions Club has awarded cumulatively over $119,000 from net proceeds received from the popular scholarship car show held at The Commons in August every year. This year’s car show is set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 24.

In addition, one male and one female scholar from each middle school was honored as Student of the Year during the event.
