Todd Beamer High School’s Nick Gunn, boys diving, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Jan. 25.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: Math/calculus.
Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?
A: Band and running.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: Coach Kelly.
Q: Do you have a pregame/competition ritual or postgame tradition, and what is it?
A: I always eat oatmeal.
Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?
A: “Happier” by Marshmello.
From the sideline: Nick has great focus and dedication to his sport. Last week, he placed first at an 11-dive meet, scoring well over 400 points and securing his WIAA 4A state entry spot.
