Athlete of the Week:
Todd Beamer High School’s Stephenie Gunn, girls diving, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Oct. 19.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: Statistics.
Q: What other activities/hobbies do you participate in?
A: Sketching and reading.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: Kelly Rogers (dive coach).
Q: Do you have a pregame/competition ritual or postgame tradition, and what is it?
A: Listening to music.
Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?
A: “Happier” by Marshmello.
From the sideline: Stephenie is undefeated in dual meets for diving. Stephenie is extremely dedicated, focused and determined. She has qualified for West Central Districts and will likely qualify for the WIAA State competition as well.
