Federal Way High School boys basketball power forward Jaden McDaniels has been selected to the American Family Insurance All-USA Washington Boys Basketball Team.
Players were chosen based on their athletic achievements in the 2017-18 season, according to USA Today High School Sports.
During his junior season, McDaniels helped the Federal Way Eagles reach the Class 4A state finals with an average of 21.3 points, 10 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 3.3 blocks per game.
At 6 feet 9 inches tall, McDaniels is also one of the top prospects in the Class of 2019. Rivals.com reports that he is ranked 63rd in the nation and has attracted scholarship offers from college programs including Texas, Arizona, Washington, San Diego State, Montana and Oklahoma. His older brother, Jalen McDaniels, plays basketball for San Diego State University.
