Following is a sample from the Federal Way police log:

Unwanted visitors: At 3:07 p.m. April 10 in the 1400 block of Southwest Dash Point Road, a victim arrived home and found an unknown male and female inside his home. The male ran out and off into the woods, while the female got into a car and drove away. A stolen vehicle was left on the victim’s property.

Brownies: At 11:33 a.m. April 10, a female student at Federal Way High School was searched by an administrator for a vape pen when she was found to be in possession of marijuana brownies. The female said she had bought the brownies for $15 from another male student about two hours earlier. Both students were disciplined by the school. No criminal charges filed.

Emergency room: At 6:17 p.m. April 9, police responded to St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way to investigate a report of two people being dropped off at the emergency room with gunshot wounds. The incident occurred in SeaTac, and a King County Sheriff’s Office detective unit responded to further investigate.

Stabbed: At 3:22 p.m. April 9 in the 34200 block of Pacific Highway South, a man reported that he was stabbed by an unknown male. He refused to cooperate with the investigation.

Lockdown: At 11:15 a.m. April 9 at 35999 16th Ave. S., a staff member at Todd Beamer High School received an email indicating that the sender was bringing bombs and a gun to school and was going to use them. The school was placed on lockdown. Police were able to determine the email was part of a national hoax that affected schools across the country.

Student threat: At 1:24 p.m. April 9, school administrators told police they had received information that student had said he had a gun hidden in the bushes at Todd Beamer High School. The suspect made comments to other students that they needed to watch the news that night. No other suspect information was available.

Shell casings: At 3:59 p.m. April 8 in the 1400 block of Southwest Dash Point Road, officers responded to an illegal firearm discharge in a wooded area that’s frequented by transients. The caller reported hearing six to 10 gunshots. Officers found seven shell casings. No suspects have been identified.

Cleaning products: At 6:33 p.m. April 8 in the 1200 block of South 320th Street, Safeway employees reported that a female was dumping cleaning products on herself and possibly drinking them. Upon contact, the officer found the woman was unable to speak. She continued to make noises when asked questions. She had wound on her head and her clothes were drenched with Febreze. She also had no shoes and was carrying a hospital cup.

Kidnapping: At 3:02 a.m. April 7, a Federal Way police officer responded to SeaTac City Hall to contact a deputy who had a kidnapping victim with him. The kidnapping occurred in Federal Way. The victim stated that she was taken from the area of South 288th Street and Pacific Highway South by a known male. The victim said he drove her to Seattle and sexually assaulted her while in the car. The victim said she was not injured.

Possible drug deals: At 3:56 p.m. April 6 in the 31600 block of 23rd Avenue South, a caller reported that she has noticed an increase in gang-related activity at the Federal Way Transit Center. She said she works odd hours and has seen red bandannas hanging at times from the fifth floor, which she said is related to drug transactions and spotters who are watching out for security.

Sexual assault: At 11:14 a.m. April 6 in the 2800 block of 28th Place South, a caller reported that a female friend was performing sex acts with her juvenile son and his three friends. The sex acts allegedly took place in 2015, but at the time, the caller said the claims didn’t seem credible. She received new information that led her to believe the events had taken place. No arrests have been reported at this time.
