Thomas Jefferson High School’s Austin Miller, boys cross country, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Oct. 13.

“Senior captain Austin Miller has led the TJHS cross country team in each of his races that he has competed in,” Thomas Jefferson coach Paul Ruston said. “He ran a 15:50 at the prestigious Woodbridge Invitational in Irvine, California, for 3 miles, placing 15th overall. He won the tri-meet between Decatur and Auburn and then took second at the Federal Way All-City meet. Austin has the fifth-fastest time on the TJHS home course.”
