What do Romania, Pakistan and Bulgaria all have in common? They all have a higher voter turnout than the United States. Not just those three, but dozens of countries have a larger voter turnout than us. Imagine – people literally fought and died for the right to vote – and the voter turnout is under 50 percent. Seems impossible doesn’t it? But when people say they will not vote simply because they don’t like people waving signs on the corner? You use that to decide whether or not to cast your vote? Please people – vote. If you aren’t sure who to vote for (none of the candidates are perfect), look at the values of the candidate’s party. Whose do you agree with or disagree with the most? Ask your friends. But for cryin’ out loud – don’t waste your vote.
