Diversity Commision’s cultural event planned for Aug. 12 has been postponed until 2018, according to an announcement from the city.

“After reviewing the status of commitments from vendors, performers and resource agencies, we felt the program was not coming together in the way that would lead to a successful fair and, in conjunction with city officials, we decided it was best to postpone the event to 2018,” Diversity Commission Chair Greg Baruso said in the announcement.
