At 78, I don’t do marches, but I was proud to transport my beloved lady to join 150,000 King County residents, Jan. 23. I saw thousands of folks of all ages, well behaved, walking in support of issues that concern them.
This is the essence of our American rights of free speech and assembly.
Quite a surprise, then, to read the opinions of the 30th District state Sen. Miloscia that this event was “ugly, un-American and unChristian.” I also am a life-long Christian, and I don’t need Miloscia to define my understanding of what that means.
This man obviously lacks courtesy and is quite out of touch. I hope that after next year, he will be out of office, as well.
