Federal Way Mirror issue well done

I like reading the Mirror. It keeps me up-to-date on local news. Every so often, there is an issue that is exceptional. The last issue (Dec. 9) was one of those.

The front page had stories on a new veterans apartment. The City Council also extended the moratorium on building new multi-family housing. There was a story about the proposed fish-processing plant at the Weyerhaeuser location, and there was a story about mumps.

The editorial page was good, too. The best was the column by Bob Roegner on raising taxes to pay for nine more policemen. Letters to the editor are always interesting.

Sorry, Amy Johnson. I am 95 years old and your column, “Sex in the Suburbs,” is no longer of interest to me.
