The Todd Beamer Titans girls basketball team continues to roll.
Beamer won its seventh straight game Dec. 12 with a 49-41 win over the Bethel Braves at Todd Beamer High School.
The No. 6-ranked Titans (7-0) were led by Makenzie Bond in the win over Kentlake. Bond led the team with 15 points and seven rebounds. And Darion Brown added 11 points and eight rebounds.
The win over the Braves made it back-to-back games leading the team in scoring for Bond and Brown.
Beamer responded with its seventh consecutive win after an impressive 20-point win over No. 8-ranked Wilson on Dec. 10.
Bond scored 26 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, while Brown scored 22 points and had 12 rebounds in the win over the Rams.
Freshman guard Aaliyah Alexander continued her success against Bethel after posting a double-double against Wilson. She posted eight points, including two 3-pointers in the final two minutes of the game to put Beamer ahead for good in Monday’s win.
The Titans look to make it eight in a row at 7 p.m. tonight when it goes on the road to face Decatur.
