AJ Ford died July 16 at his home in Federal Way. He was 17.

Ford was to be a senior this year at Thomas Jefferson High School.

Survivors include his parents, Rick and Jean Ford; a sister, Lea Ford; a brother, Bryan Ford; and grandparents Bill and Dot Ford.

A memorial service was held July 24 at Community of Christ at St. Luke’s, with burial at Washington Memorial Cemetery in SeaTac. Arrangements were by Bonney-Watson of Federal Way.
