Leonard Robert Oakes of New Port Richey, Fla. died Oct. 13 in Franklin, Tenn.

He was a native of Elizabeth, N.J., a hotel executive and a veteran of the Navy.

Survivors include sons Thomas Oakes of Federal Way, Stephan Oakes of New Port Richey, Fla. and Richard Oakes of Franklin; daughters Delores Oakes of Buffalo, N.Y. and Kathleen Burns of Lake Orion, Mich.; a sister, Loretta Buff of St. Petersburg, Fla.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann.

A memorial Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Oct. 18 at St. Philip Catholic Church in Franklin.
