Byron Randolph Cady Jr. died Nov. 5, 2006, at his home of 40 years in Federal Way.

He was born Oct. 21, 1929, in Lowell, Mass. He graduated from Bowdoin College and came to the Northwest with Weyerhaeuser, eventually retiring in 1984.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Louise Coburn Cady; daughters Jennifer Baugh, Laura Hilby (husband David) and Pamela Fogelberg (husband Jack); seven grandchildren; and his sister Priscilla Clement of Westford, Mass.

He was an active and devoted member of Wayside United Church of Christ and the Federal Way Kiwanis.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Nov. 11 at Wayside UCC, 2000 SW Dash Point Road, Federal Way. Remembrances can be made to Wayside or a charity of your choice.
