Juanita Tirrell died Oct. 1. She was 75.
She was born Oct. 21, 1926, and was a 25-year resident of Federal Way.
She was a secretary for 20 years at Emerson Elementary School in the Seattle School District, a member of the Federal Way Women’s Club and a volunteer at Federal Way Group Health.
She is survived by daughters Linda Moshier, Marcia Hallmark, Karen Waddle and Kathy Ristine, all of Federal Way; a sister, Alice Coleman of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Walter Tirrell.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 5 at Light of Christ Lutheran Church, 2400 SW. 344th St. Arrangements are by Bleitz Funeral Home in Seattle.
The family suggests memorials be made to Swedish Hospital.
