John Ringler

John Paul (Jack) Ringler, a longtime Federal Way resident, died Nov. 16.

He was 82.

He was born Nov. 6, 1921, in Pittsburgh, Pa., served in the Navy during World War II, and graduated summa cum laude from Brown University.

He retired from Boeing as a registered professional engineer.

Survivors include his wife Annis; sons John Ringler and William Ringler of the Seattle area; daughters Polly Ringler of Blairsville, Pa. and Katharine Ringler of Salida, Colo.; a brother, Dan Ringler, and a sister, Eileen Pesci, both of Blairsville, Pa.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Ringler, of Oklahoma.
