Hoyt Dudley Acree, 83, of Federal Way died Feb. 13.

He was born March 4, 1922 in Leachville, Ark. He lived in the south King County area for 12 years.

He served in the Navy, was a machinist for Boeing for 34 years before retiring in 1985, and was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survivors include a son, Lonnie Acree; a daughter, Marcia Acree; a sister, Reba Wildman; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Frances.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Feb. 17 at Acacia Cemetery in Seattle. Yahn and Sons Funeral Home in Auburn is in charge of arrangements.
