Take Ida Blume, a 47-year resident of Federal Way, died March 13 in Seattle. She was 75.
She was born Oct. 31, 1928, in Saitama-Ken, Kawaguchi, Japan. She married Theodore J. Halpin in 1953 in Japan; he died in 1966. She married Warren F. Blume in 1967 in Tacoma, and he died in 1988.
She was a food handler for Northwest Airlines Flight Kitchen for 23 years, retiring in 1990.
Survivors include a daughter, Tarry Swanson of Federal Way; a son, Larry Halpin of Blaine; sisters Tama Ida, Fukuko Ida and Hatsuko Ida, all of Japan; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by sisters Mieko Bland and Amiko Ida.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. March 20 at Price-Helton Funeral Chapel. Arrangements are by Price-Helton .
