Donald Golden
Donald Golden died Oct. 8, 2006, in Seattle at age 76.
He was born Jan. 18, 1930, in Bakersfield, Calif.
He was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Bakersfield as well as Kent, and retired in 1985 after 32 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Glennis Golden of Federal Way; four daughters and one son — Kim Golden of Fife, Kelly Golden of Federal Way, Kristy Golden of Puyallup, Denise Stockton of Ojai, Calif., and Donald Golden of Bakersfield; 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brothers Gary Golden of Bakersfield and Kenneth Golden of Sparks, Nev.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Oct. 20 at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial Park, 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac, followed by a 1 p.m. luncheon at The Fred Oldfield Western Heritage Center inside the Red Gate at The Puyallup Fairgrounds.
