Frank J. Wing Sr. died Jan. 27 in Mesa, Ariz. He was 73.

He was born in Chicago, Ill. on April 19, 1930 .

Survivors include a daughter, Karen Jirka of Auburn West Hill; a son, Frank Wing Jr. of Chicago; brothers Rick Adonis, Ed Wayne and Robert Howard, all of the Chicago area; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Concetta, in 1998.

Private services were Jan. 30. The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association.
