Kano is a 2-year-old male Pit Bull Terrier and Boxer Mix who weighs about 75 lbs (ID #A498049).
This sweet boy loves meeting new people and going for walks. While not much interested in treats, he does take them gently when he wants one. When Kano was brought to the shelter he had marks across his shoulder and under his chest where a harness had grown into his body. The veterinarians say it should heal up. Kano is learning to sit on command and to not pull the leash when going for walks. He’s doing well with both! Kano can be a bit dominant when meeting other dogs, so he would need to meet any dogs currently in your home before being adopted. He’s also a bit of an escape artist and can get out of fenced yards, so he shouldn’t be left outside unsupervised.
If you’re looking for a sweet, loving guy to join your family, Kano could be the one for you! He’s neutered, current on vaccinations, and micro-chipped. You can find out more about Kano on his Petfinder profile at www.petfinder.com/petdetail/36407894. You can also meet Kano in person, along with other animals available for adoption, seven days a week at RASKC’s King County Pet Adoption Center in Kent (21615 64th Ave. S.) on Mondays from 3-6 p.m., Tuesdays through Fridays from noon-6 p.m., and on weekends from noon-5 p.m.
