The Master Builders Association, Johnson Braund, and some volunteer installers donated a ramp to a Federal Way family on Saturday to help 9-year-old Nevaeh McKinzie. Nevaeh suffered brain damage and has no body control or movement, but she now has greater mobility after getting the wheelchair-friendly ramp.
The installation was part of the Master Builders Association’s “Rampathon,” which installed a total of 37 ramps throughout King and Snohomish counties this year and has built more than 370 since the event’s inception in 1993.
