Dozens of people braved the windy weather, and even waited overnight, for the grand opening of Buffalo Wild Wings in Federal Way.
The popular restaurant and sports bar officially opened with a ribbon cutting Monday morning (SEE PHOTOS).
The first 100 customers in line received coupons for a year’s worth of free wings. That’s about 325,000 total wings, according to a manager on duty.
Some people lined up as “early” as 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the new restaurant in anticipation of the free wing promotion.
Buffalo Wild Wings is known for its chicken wings and an array of sauces such as sweet barbecue, teriyaki and Caribbean jerk — with Blazin’ at the top of the heat scale. The menu includes salads, onion rings, burgers and sandwiches. There is also a kids menu, along with a full bar and plenty of flat-screen TVs showing the latest sporting events.
The Federal Way restaurant is located on South 320th Street at The Commons Mall. Hours are 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday.
