Tracey Eide calls herself “the education senator.” After raising our taxes $860 million again this year, the test scores are still too low, the number of dropouts is up, and she consistently votes for the interests of the teachers union, not for the students. The number of government unpaid mandates required is up, and Federal Way had to fire of a number of librarians and school nurses. This constant dismissal of what is best for our students has to stop, and it will take a person like Tony Moore, who has led our school board, to start doing what’s right for the children of Washington.
