Administrators, staff and volunteer organizations welcomed parents and students at the annual Saghalie Middle school welcome back barbecue on Friday.

During the event, each student received their own laptop and signed up for athletic teams and activity clubs. Parents signed up for PTA in support of the programs benefiting staff and students.

Schools across the district held welcome back events as the doors open this week.
