The Sound Transit’s Board of Directors will take public comments and is expected to identify a preferred route alternative for the Federal Way Link Extension project on Thursday, July 23.

Sound Transit will then advance design of the preferred alternative and refine the environmental impact analysis. These findings will be published in the Final Environmental Impact Statement, which is expected in late 2016.

The Sound Transit Board of Directors will consider the findings in the final impact statement and select a project to build.

The board meeting they’ll make their decisions will be from 1:30-4 p.m. in the Ruth Fisher Board Room located at Union Station, 401 S. Jackson St. in Seattle. The board meeting will be available live online at soundtransit.org/boardlive.
