Suspect rams police vehicle | Federal Way crime blotter

Following is a sample from the Federal Way police log:

• Suspect rams police vehicle: At 4:26 p.m. Nov. 15 in the 1400 block of South 348th Street, a suspect was tazed and arrested after he or she was seen driving on the wrong side of Pacific Highway South, led police in a pursuit, then rammed a police vehicle. Ecstasy and a lot of cash were found on the suspect.

• Missing luggage: At 7:08 a.m. Nov. 14 in the 33300 block of 42nd Avenue Southwest, a victim reported that two luggage bags were stolen from his or her driveway when they were left unattended for approximately three minutes.

• Abusive boyfriend: At 4:14 a.m. Nov. 15 in the 2100 block of Southwest 336th Street, a victim reported her boyfriend assaulted and strangled her and shoved her head through the window of a van.

• Woman attempts to sell her baby: At 8:23 p.m. Nov. 16 in the Federal Way area, a complainant reported she located an ad on Craigslist regarding an unknown female wanting to sell her unborn baby.

• High-speed chase: At 2:26 a.m. Nov. 16 at 33000 Pacific Highway South, police pursued a stolen vehicle. The driver led police on a chase onto Interstate 5 at 110 mph. The suspect exited at South 272nd Street and continued onto Military Road at 80 mph. The suspect then fled on foot.

• Vehicle is connected to a drive-by: At 2:49 a.m. Nov. 18 in the 29000 block of Military Road South, police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Des Moines police notified Federal Way that the vehicle was connected to a drive-by shooting that happened earlier the same evening.

• Church robbed: At 12:13 a.m. Nov. 13 at 2400 S.W. 344th St., it was reported that a church was burglarized. Several musical equipment pieces were stolen.

• Bank robbery: At 3:41 p.m. Nov. 18 at 1918 S.W. Campus Drive, a bank was robbed by an unknown suspect. No weapons were seen or implied, and there were no threats of bodily harm. A K-9 track had negative results.

• Sideswiped: At 10:56 a.m. Nov. 17 at 32000 Gateway Blvd., a victim’s vehicle was sideswiped by another vehicle. It caused a large dent. The victim pulled over, but the suspect sped off.
