Girls get dumped after refusing sexual favors

• At 10:51 p.m. April 21, two girls reported being picked up in Tacoma by two unknown men. The men drove the girls to Federal Way and demanded sexual favors. When the girls refused, the men left them near The Commons mall and refused to bring them back to Tacoma.

• At 8:09 a.m. April 21, a woman reported that her boyfriend attempted to strangle her and interfered with her calling police in the 2200 block of South Star Lake Road.

• At 1:19 p.m. April 21, two Decatur High School students set fire to their own belongings inside a large metal cargo container adjacent to the gym at 2800 S.W. 320th St.

• At 4:20 p.m. April 21, a man who lives in the 30200 block of 33rd Avenue S.W. reported that he suspects his neighbor cut the top of one of his trees that borders the neighbor’s property. The two have had an ongoing conflict.

• At 12:09 a.m. April 19, a woman reported that her ex-roommate in the 2100 block of S.W. 352nd Street stole several of her DVDs and some video games.

• At 12:46 a.m. April 19, officers responded to reports of a man passed out in the street near 2300 S. 288th Pl. Officers discovered the man was dead.

• At 4:54 a.m. April 19, a man was arrested for warrants after employees at Denny’s, 2132 S. 320th St., reported him sleeping in the restaurant.

• At 4:09 p.m. April 19, a woman reported that her ex-boyfriend, who she has a restraining order against, has on two separate occasions left his shirts at the end of her driveway in the 33300 block of 29th Place S.W.

• At 10:15 p.m. April 19, officers responded to reports of shots fired near 1850 S. 289th St. When officers arrived, witnesses told conflicting stories.

• At 7:16 a.m. April 18, a bomb squad responded to reports of a suspicious package in the parking lot at a church at 2501 S.W. 320th St. The package, a military style metal ammunition container, was rendered safe.

• At 6:14 p.m. April 18, a woman reported that she had been raped several times by her husband at 1900 S.W. Campus Drive.

• At 4:37 p.m. April 18, officers responded to reports of a home burglary in the 28800 block of 23rd Avenue S. A Slim Fast can left on the kitchen counter was dusted for fingerprints.

• At 12:50 p.m. April 14, a woman reported that someone struck her in the head and stole her bag at 2300 S. 288th St. The woman was dragged across the ground briefly while she tried to hang on to the bag and suffered minor injuries.

• At 1:39 p.m. April 14, a student was arrested for being intoxicated at Federal Way High School, 30611 16th Ave. S.

• At 12:04 a.m. April 13, officers responded to reports of shots fired at 28400 26th Ave. S.

• At 12:36 a.m. April 13, a taxi driver reported being robbed at gunpoint at 31200 Pacific Hwy. S.

• At 11:27 p.m. April 13, a woman reported that someone struck her in the head with a glass bottle and stole her purse near 30839 Pacific Highway S.
