The Federal Way Police Department (FWPD) has identified 28-year-old Bernard Bellerouche as a suspect in the May 7 shooting death of Demario Washington in Federal Way.
According to FWPD, detectives, along with other neighboring law enforcement agencies, “located and interviewed numerous witnesses in these cases,” which lead to the identification of Bellerouche.
FWPD detectives, along with Valley SWAT members, attempted to serve a warrant on Bellerouche’s last known residence in the 27800 block of Pacific Highway S. on Tuesday, but Bellerouche was not located at that residence.
Police consider Bellerouche armed and dangerous. He is described as black, six-feet two-inches tall, 295 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
