The next edition of Jazz LIVE at Marine View will feature guitar maestro Pearl Django at 5 p.m. Nov. 13 at 8469 Eastside Drive NE, Tacoma.

Jet Cities Chorus: The group offers its free fall community program for local women to receive free group vocal lessons from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays through Nov. 7. A special show takes place 2 p.m. Nov. 13 at Todd Beamer High School, 35999 16th Ave. S. It is a free concert but Jet Cities asks people to bring a donation of canned food, infant item or homeless item to benefit the Federal Way Multi-Service Center. FW Symphony’s holiday music: Upcoming events by the Federal Way Symphony include a special evening concert of Handel’s Messiah at 2 p.m. Nov. 20. Launching the holiday season, the Federal Way Symphony and the Federal Way Choral Society present Handel’s timeless masterpiece. The Symphony will host its holiday concert at 2 p.m. Dec. 4. The concert is filled with Christmas music that entertains everyone in the family. The Symphony performs at St. Luke’s Church, 515 S. 312th St., Federal Way. A Christmas Carol: Charles Dickens’ classic ghost story “A Christmas Carol” runs Dec. 2-11. Performances are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2 p.m. Sundays.
